POWERFUL WORDS. PERSONAL WORLDS.

My Storyteller (for 11+)

WHAT IS MY STORYTELLER FOR 11+?

The 11+ demands a big vocabulary, but learning word lists is a battle for most children. Every year, around 100,000 children in England sit the 11+ or similar entrance tests for selective and independent schools where success depends heavily on strong vocabulary in challenging reading comprehension and verbal reasoning sections.

Yet traditional prep – flashcards, word lists, endless quizzing – is tedious for many children and stressful for parents. That’s why we created My Storyteller: a personalised eight-chapter storybook, unique to your child, with essential 11+ vocabulary woven naturally into an adventure where they are the hero.

As they follow their own story and meet challenging words in context, children absorb new vocabulary more naturally. At the same time, My Storyteller helps to reignite a love of reading at exactly the age when it often drops off, just as advanced vocabulary becomes most crucial.

HOW MY STORYTELLER WORKS

1. You tell us about your child

Share your child's name, age and interests — the things that make them light up. Love dinosaurs? Obsessed with space? Can't stop talking about football? We use these details to build a story around them, with key 11+ vocabulary woven into the plot. You can even include a favourite pet or toy to make it feel even more personal.

2. We create their personalised vocabulary story Using AI and careful educational design, we generate a unique story where your child is the hero. Every tale is built around a curated list of essential 11+ vocabulary words, placed naturally in context — not just dropped in. Each story is then reviewed by an experienced educator to check that the language, tone and vocabulary use are right for your child before it's sent to you.

3. They read, enjoy… and learn without noticing

You receive a personalised story to read on any device (print options available upon request). At the end of each chapter, there's a handy word list with clear definitions and the exact sentence from the story where each word appeared — so your child can revisit and absorb new vocabulary at their own pace. They get a gripping adventure. You get meaningful 11+ vocabulary practice for your child. Everyone wins.

This was created for Maya, a 10-year old girl who loves space exploration, puzzles and ancient Egypt with a tabby cat called Pixel. Your story will be personalised to your child's name, interests, and world.
