WHAT IS A UNIVERSITY ADMISSIONS TEST COURSE?
Many UK universities use an additional Admissions Test as well as relying on A Level or equivalent grades. This is particularly true of the most highly ranked universities and the most competitive courses. This enables universities to make a more informed decision about the students they will be offering a place especially when ‘fantastic’ grades are usually just a starting point for applying to these courses in the first place.
Our Admissions Test courses cover a range of university assessments including ESAT (new in 2024), TMUA, MAT and UCAT for medicine related courses. Our courses designers are experts in these courses and understand not just the knowledge required in these assessments but also valuable skills such as time and question management.

Our course designers cover not only the knowledge required in these courses but also the question types and their differences from standard A Level questions, time management skills to maximise response times in the tests, specific questions tactics like when to use a process of elimination or numerical examples to resolve questions more quickly. In addition to the lessons themselves students will get bespoke revision notes, questions to practise and a revision plan designed to maximise the retention of learned material and skills during the course. Our standard courses are 6, 9 or 12 hours but can be flexible and we will contact you beforehand to arrange dates to suit the availability of the student.
HOW DOES IT WORK?

We will arrange to speak with the student and ask them a few questions about their objectives for the assessment and any areas they wish to focus their revision on. Our courses are designed to cover all the topics assessed but we tailor our courses to each student’s needs so this information will be crucial to get the most out of the course. Then we will contact you with more information on what is involved in the course and arrange dates to suit the availability of the student.
