WHAT IS A CAT4 COURSE?
The CAT4, or Cognitive Abilities Test Fourth Edition, is an assessment tool used by schools in the UK (and globally) to measure students' cognitive abilities independent of their school curriculum knowledge. These tests are used by schools for many reasons such as admissions, setting and placement, identifying gifted and talented students as well as additional learning needs.
Our courses lead students through the preparation process and help them to understand the test questions to maximise their results.
WHAT MAKES US DIFFERENT?
We are unashamedly focused on the test results. Many other courses and platforms teach general skills, that are covered in the CAT4 but we focus exclusively on the exact question types that will come up in the actual test. These are assessed across four key areas: Verbal, Non-Verbal, Quantitative, and Spatial reasoning and each area has only two different question types.
We cover all of these question types and provide comprehensive practice questions for our students. In addition to this we teach time management and exam tactics so that student can maximise their results in the CAT4 assessment.

Our standard CAT4 courses are 10 hours long (although they can be longer for non-native speakers). Then we will contact you with more information on what is involved in the course and arrange dates to suit the availability of you and the student.
